Meet the Owners!
Lorri Matthewson & Anna Trippel
Lorri Matthewson and Anna Trippel have worked side by side for nearly six years, beginning with a traditional workplace relationship: Lorri as the founder and owner of Matthewson & Co. (a for profit social enterprise dedicated to providing economic development support to small population communities), and Anna as part of her team. Over time, the two developed a close friendship and a balance between their left-brain/right-brain approach that has become a strength. (We’ll let you guess which one of them is the left‑brain and which one is the right!)

Fast forward to the end of 2025 when Carlyle's local newspaper (The Observer est. 1936) closed its doors, resulting in the loss of news coverage and an important behind-the-scenes service: commercial printing.

Lorri and Anna recognized the gap this created in the community and saw an opportunity to step in and support local needs — and with the space, resources, and some of the equipment already available, they were able to carry the service forward.
They look forward to supporting the community and surrounding area through this new venture.
